Description
The Proponent can be summarized in one word, uncompromising. This substantial knife is the product of a collaboration between Artisan Cutlery and long-time designer Dirk Pinkerton. The Proponent carries on Dirk’s fondness for chunky Wharncliffe style blades but takes it a few steps further with smooth ceramic bearings, a large flipper tab, and a beefy frame. To add an extra layer of assurance we have included a hardened steel pin that can be screwed into the handle frame to lock the knife in the opened or closed position. This is by far the most overbuilt knife in the Artisan line and we could not be happier with the results.
