We are proud to call Mike “Whiskers” and Denise Allen friends of ours for over 20 years.  It’s great that all these many years later we are able to offer this innovative Pro-Tech Whiskers collaboration knife based on Mike’s fantastic bolster release mechanism.  Upon first glance there is nothing about the BR-1 to make you suspect it’s an automatic knife (no button of course).  The BOLSTER section of the handle slides up – this very deliberate movement is what fires the blade open and also unlocks it from the open position.

A nice variety of aluminum handle BR-1 are available and with it’s handy 3.125” blade, smooth discreet action, and deep carry clip make carry knives.
